The APS Benefits Group supports community initiatives, sporting clubs and events. We are strong supporters of the Defence Special Needs Support Group. In recent times, we have provided over $150,000 to the DSNSG for various group and individual projects. The APS Benefits Group sees this contribution as an integral part of its commitment to the community and indeed the family.
APS Benevolent Fund
The APS Benefits Group is very excited to support the APS Benevolent Fund.
The APS Benevolent Fund is a registered charity and a deductible gift recipient. Any donations it receives above $2 are tax deductible.
The Fund is administered by the staff of the APS Benefits Group. All costs of maintaining the Fund are borne by the Group, so that people making donations are assured that every dollar is used to fund benevolent projects. One of our first projects is to support the Cerebral Palsy Education Centre (CPEC).
Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in Australia and the most expensive to manage. CPEC provides physical, occupational and speech therapy to children, as well as enabling children and families to access the essential equipment they need in their daily lives.
The APS Benefits Group, through the APS Benevolent Fund has been supporting CPEC by providing valuable funds to supply physical, occupational and speech therapy to children, as well as enabling children and families access to essential equipment they need in their daily lives.
